Morgan appeared in the Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS prevention and education. Proceeds from the video were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Group. She also has led several other fundraising efforts in the fight against AIDS and has testified before the specially-created Congressional Committee on AIDS Education. Morgan is on the Board of Governors of APLA, and of Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop's previous deputy surgeon general requested occasionally to be his substitute during AIDS awareness programs. Additionally, she hosted an AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline two times to talk about AIDS. Morgan is nominated to be an Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. Morgan co-starred on the ABC television series Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. The summer was kicked off with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The production, Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Morgan's next production sent Morgan to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also the sole actor in the psychological thriller of USA Network, which garnered some of the strongest ratings this network's had.
